Iconic Atmospheres

The game immerses players in legendary stadiums, from The Big House to The Swamp, from Tuscaloosa to College Station, complete with iconic rituals and traditions. Authentic soundscapes, including bands playing fight songs, enhance the immersive experience.

Explosive Gameplay

CampusIQ offers an authentic, fast-paced college football experience featuring an all-new composure system, player Wear & Tear, homefield advantages, and diverse playstyles across all 134 FBS teams. The new Wear & Tear system ensures that as the hits add up, players wear down. Pre-Snap Recognition makes each decision behind every snap matter more.

Gameplay Impressions

The gameplay is designed to be a modernized version of NCAA Football 14, which is a compliment to fans of the older series. The developers have accurately captured the look and feel of college stadiums, including additions made since the last game.

Passing and Kicking Mechanics

The revamped passing system allows users to have a direct impact on the throw's quality. For those who prefer a simpler approach, the settings can be switched back to the classic passing mode. The kicking meter differs from traditional NCAA Football or Madden mechanics, presenting a new challenge for players.

Defensive Challenges

Defense can be challenging, even for experienced players. AI defenders may struggle to contain ball-carriers, requiring players to adjust their strategies and tactics.

Game Modes

EA Sports College Football 25 features several game modes, including Road to Glory, Dynasty, Ultimate Team, and Road to the CFP.

Road to Glory

In Road to Glory, players create a custom player and balance student-athlete life in pursuit of the prestigious Heisman Trophy. Players can allocate time to studies (maintaining a 2.0 GPA to remain eligible), leadership, health, training, and brand (NIL). The transfer portal is available after every season.

Dynasty

The Dynasty mode allows players to build a program for up to 30 years. Players can customize their team’s schedule, realign conferences, hire and fire assistant coaches, manage players’ goals and skill progressions, and search for better jobs through the coaching carousel. Recruiting is a key aspect of Dynasty mode, with players controlling scholarship offers, campus visits, and interactions with prospects. Automated recruiting can be enabled for those who prefer to focus on other aspects of the game.

Ultimate Team

Ultimate Team centers around solo challenges and online head-to-head matchups. Players and other items, like jerseys, are represented as collectable virtual cards.

NIL and Player Likenesses

Following a lawsuit over the use of player likenesses without permission or compensation, EA Sports initially stated that player names and likenesses were not planned for the game. However, with the evolution of NIL rules, players can now be included in the game. Over 10,000 athletes have signed up to be included in College Football 25.
