The candidate must submit a 700-1,000 word essay response to the prompt: Our criminal justice system is under constant scrutiny. Share with us a bit of legislation or regulation that has been a recent controversial topic. Explain why you feel this legislation or law should be abolished or kept in place.

Through this scholarship, we would like students to share a piece of legislation or law relevant to them and how changes would impact them. We are not here to judge your opinion or stance on any issue. Essay responses should be informed and thoughtfully written.

She is currently enrolled in the University of Southern California’s doctoral program in Organizational Change and Leadership.
