2021 Season: A Breakout Year
2021 was a defining year for Reed. Playing with Payton Thorne as quarterback, he amassed 59 receptions for 1,026 yards and 10 touchdowns. He had a significant 26.8 percent target share in the offense. His performance reached another level towards the end of the season, with Reed securing at least 10 targets in each of the last six games. 2023 NFL Draft
The Green Bay Packers selected Jayden Reed in the second round of the 2023 NFL Draft, with the 50th overall pick. The Packers subsequently signed Reed to a contract.
2023 Season: Rookie Year
Reed made his NFL debut on September 10, 2023, against the Chicago Bears, catching two passes for 48 yards and rushing once for -2 yards in a 38-20 victory. The following week, on September 17, he scored his first two NFL touchdowns in a loss to the Atlanta Falcons, catching nine- and 10-yard passes from Jordan Love.
