The Internship Program is a full-time, 10-week program designed to provide college students with practical business experience. It enables participants to develop leadership skills, broaden their understanding of the concepts learned in school, and "get a taste of the real world" before fully committing to it. The intern program is one of the primary sources of talent for entrance into Johnson & Johnson's Finance Leadership Development Program (FLDP).

The Finance Leadership Development Program (FLDP): Developing Future Leaders
The Finance Leadership Development Program (FLDP) is a two-and-a-half-year program designed to prepare and develop future generations of business leaders within the finance organization. Participants will develop critical leadership & technical skills through rotational assignments at J&J business units, in-depth training, and ongoing coaching and feedback.

Program Structure
FLDP participants complete six months of onboarding followed by two 12-month rotations. These rotational assignments are supplemented by five weeks of various trainings over the course of the program taught and led by internal & external resources.

- In-Depth Training: The program includes in-depth training to develop critical leadership and technical skills.
- Ongoing Coaching and Feedback: Participants receive ongoing coaching and feedback to support their development.
- Classroom and Digital Learning: Quickly get up to speed with five weeks of classroom and digital learning activities focusing on core leadership and business competencies, technical skills, process excellence, value creation and healthcare economics.
Internship Requirements and Qualifications
To be eligible for a Johnson & Johnson finance internship, candidates must meet specific requirements and possess certain qualifications.
Core Requirements
- Current Enrollment: Applicants must be currently enrolled in an accredited College/University.
- Degree Pursuit: Candidates should be pursuing an undergraduate or Fifth Year Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Data Analytics, or a related field.
- Graduation Date: An expected graduation date in 2027 or 2028.
- GPA: A minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA is required.
- Excel Knowledge: Intermediate knowledge of MS Excel is preferred.
- Work Authorization: Legal authorization to work in the United States without requiring sponsorship for employment visa status.
