Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology: A Comprehensive Overview of Courses and Academic Life

Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), located in Kumasi, Ghana, stands as a leading institution dedicated to science, technology, engineering, and the humanities. Established in 1951 as Kumasi College of Technology, KNUST has evolved into a comprehensive university offering a wide array of programs and fostering a vibrant academic environment. This article provides an in-depth look at the courses offered across various colleges within KNUST, the university's history, and the overall student experience.

A Historical Perspective

The journey of KNUST began with its establishment as Kumasi College of Technology in 1951. The institution expanded its academic scope with the establishment of a Pharmacy Department in 1953 and a Department of Agriculture to cater to the Ministry of Agriculture's needs.
