Lone Star College-Kingwood (LSC-Kingwood), the second campus of the North Harris Montgomery Community College District (now Lone Star College), has been a vital educational institution in the community since its opening in 1984. Originally known as the "East Campus," it began with approximately 1,000 students and has since grown to serve over 11,000 students. The program selects currently enrolled motivated students who are first-generation, income-eligible (based upon federal guidelines), or have a documented disability. Space is limited in this program.
