Comprehensive Guide to LSU Football Student Tickets
Attending LSU football games is a cherished tradition for students. This guide provides detailed information on how LSU students can obtain tickets, understand the related policies, and maximize their game day experience.
LSU Athletics Ticket Office: Your Primary Resource
The LSU Athletics Ticket Office is your go-to resource for all ticket-related inquiries. It's located on the first floor of the LSU Athletic Administration Building, situated at the corner of Nicholson Drive and North Stadium Drive, in the west parking lot of Tiger Stadium (Lot 101). You can reach them at (225) 578-2184.
Understanding Season Tickets
Tradition Fund and TAF Contributions
A significant portion of football season tickets, approximately 45,000, require a contribution to LSU’s Tradition Fund for the right to purchase them. A limited number of season tickets also necessitate Tiger Athletic Foundation (TAF) contributions.
TAF also provides premium seating options such as the Stadium Club and the Tiger Den Suites.
Renewal Process
Season ticket renewals are available in January each year and are typically due by March 1. If you haven't received a renewal form by mid-February, contact the ticket office.

Request List
Any unsold season tickets from the 2026 season will be made available to the public in January. A season ticket request list is available in the fall and usually closes by March 1. Unrenewed season tickets are reassigned to fans on this list. Registration for the request list is open from December through February, accessible through the provided link.
Ticket Limits
Season ticket and parking holders have limitations on the number of tickets they can acquire in specific areas of Tiger Stadium.
Away Game Tickets
Season ticket holders and active Team TAF/Oaks Donors can apply for away game tickets each spring, with the deadline typically on April 30. If demand exceeds the available supply, the LSU Priority Point System determines ticket distribution.
Individual Game Tickets
Individual game tickets for select games usually go on sale each summer. Prices can fluctuate based on demand, and all phone and internet orders are subject to service fees.
Premium Seating: The Skyline Club
The Skyline Club, located in sections 650-658 of the south end zone of Tiger Stadium, offers an open-air premium experience for up to 1,500 fans. The ticket cost includes an all-you-can-eat buffet with rotating menu items and one complimentary beverage. Beer and wine are available for purchase.

Postseason Tickets
Tickets for postseason games involving LSU are initially allocated to players, coaches, LSU students, and athletic department staff. The number of requests from football season ticket holders is then evaluated against the remaining available tickets to determine if any limits must be imposed. LSU aims to accommodate as many fans as possible.
There is no limit on the number of tickets that may be ordered for the SEC Championship Game and each postseason bowl game, however, LSU is limited in the number of tickets received for those games.

Transferring Tickets
Students can transfer tickets to other eligible students via their online account by selecting the Transfer option under My Account. Tickets can only be transferred to students who do not already have a ticket for that game.
Student Priority Points
Students can check their Student Priority Points by downloading the Geaux Rewards app to their mobile device.
Student Guest Tickets
For non-conference games, students may purchase a Student Guest Ticket for non-LSU students to enter the student section. There is a limit of 500 student guest tickets per game, sold on a first-come, first-served basis, the day before each home game or when 500 tickets are sold. Student Guest Tickets will NOT be processed on the day of the game for any reason. Student guest tickets will not be available for any SEC game.
Tickets for Other Sports
Full-time LSU students meeting all requirements receive free admission to regular-season home sporting events (excluding football) by swiping their valid LSU ID at the venue on game day.
Important Policies and Regulations
Revocable Licenses
LSU Athletics tickets are revocable licenses, and LSU can revoke tickets for any reason at its discretion. These licenses do not confer any property right to the ticket holder.
Ticket Resale
Tickets cannot be resold in the immediate vicinity of Tiger Stadium. SeatGeek is the Official Ticket Marketplace of LSU Athletics, ensuring that tickets bought and sold on the platform are trusted and verified.
Gate Entrances
Always check your ticket for the correct gate entrance before arriving. Patrons in the east upper deck can use gate 9 (escalator) or enter through the south end zone (gates 23-28) to access the ramp.
Student Ticket Requirements and Conduct
If you are no longer enrolled at LSU-Baton Rouge, you are not eligible to purchase LSU student tickets. Ordering tickets online does not guarantee you tickets in the fall semester. In order to receive your tickets, you must be enrolled full-time for the fall semester and have an overall GPA of 2.0 or better at the time we distribute tickets to students. All students must provide their most recent valid LSU ID at the student entrance and meet the student ticket requirements listed above in order to use a football student ticket for any game.
The resale, or attempted resale, of LSU student tickets through means other than those specifically provided by the LSU Ticket Office is expressly prohibited. As members of the LSU community, all students are encouraged to promote academic integrity and abide by the behavioral standards outlined in the LSU Code of Student Conduct. It is a violation of the Code to sell your LSU football ticket to a non- student or to sell the ticket for greater than face value. It is also a violation to allow any other person to utilize your LSU issued Tiger Card.
Enhancing the Fan Experience
Collegiate Club
As a member of the Collegiate Club at LSU, students gain a unique fan experience. Members get exclusive access to athletic facility tours, a special graduation experience in Tiger Stadium, Collegiate Club gear, access to the LSU Tailgate Party before LSU home football games, away game viewing parties in premium seating areas, and more.
COVID-19 Protocols (Example from 2020)
In 2020, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, specific protocols were in place. For example, students needed to have a COVID-19 test completed and reported to the university after a certain date to receive priority consideration for tickets. Face masks were required on campus and inside Tiger Stadium, and all transactions were cashless. These protocols may change based on current health guidelines.
