Test Scores

GPA Calculation

To determine your GPA, use the following method: If your school provides both a weighted and unweighted GPA (or does not use a 4.00 scale), determine which will place you higher on this scale. The highest will be used to determine your eligibility for admission.

Class Rank Calculation

To calculate your class rank:

  1. Find your numerical rank in your class.
  2. Divide that number by the number of students in your class.
  3. Subtract that number from one.
  4. Multiply that number by 100.

For example: 1 - [(30 ÷ 400) x 100] = 92.50%.

GPA and Class Rank Example Calculation

The following is an example of how to calculate your GPA and class rank:

  1. Determine your GPA using a 4.0 scale.
  2. Determine your class rank.
  3. Calculate your GPA equivalent using the following formula: 4 - [(class rank ÷ 25) x 4]

For example: 4 - [(30 ÷ 400) x 12 = 3.50].
