FACTS, a third-party vendor, evaluates all applications and establishes each family’s financial need. MND uses this information to determine tuition assistance award amounts for qualifying families. There is a \$30 fee payable to FACTS at the time of completing the application.
Scholarships for Incoming Freshmen
Through the generosity of benefactors, MND offers several need-based scholarships for incoming freshmen. To be considered for named scholarships, a completed application is due by November 25, 2025. These renewable scholarships have been made possible by the generous support of the Sisters of Notre Dame de Namur, our largest benefactor.
Sr. Dorothy Stang, SNDdeN Scholarship
The Sr. Dorothy Stang, SNDdeN Scholarship celebrates young women who are eager to make a difference in their communities and the world, just as Sr. Dorothy did. This opportunity is open to eighth-grade girls who aspire to live out qualities embodied by Sr. Dorothy. Through an on-campus interview, candidates will have the opportunity to share how they live out the values Sr. Interview Day: Arrive at MND at your assigned date and time for a brief, informal conversation. Each student will first meet with MND Student Ambassadors, followed by a meeting with an MND faculty or staff member. The Sr. Dorothy Stang, SNDdeN Scholarship is one of the many opportunities available to students who exemplify the spirit, values, and promise of our future Cougars.
Academic Scholarships
Mount Notre Dame awards academic scholarships to select students based on their entrance test performance. No separate application is required. To be considered, students must submit their test scores to MND and take the High School Placement Test (HSPT) on the November test date or the first scheduled make-up date.
St. Julie Billiart Scholars Program
This academic program is named after St. Julie Billiart, the foundress of the Sisters of Notre Dame de Namur and honors our brightest students with academic and experiential learning opportunities, as well as a monetary scholarship. The invitation for this program is offered to qualifying incoming freshmen based on a review of each applicant’s academic records. Scoring in the 90th percentile or above, or a CSQ of 125 or above on the High School Placement Test ensures an invitation to this program. There is no application for this scholarship.

Ohio EdChoice Scholarship
MND Accepts the Ohio EdChoice Scholarship - both Traditional and Expansion Programs. Eligibility for the Traditional EdChoice Scholarship is based on a student’s assigned public high school associated with a parent/guardian’s home address and currently provides the non-public high school of each qualifying student with a \$8,408 tuition scholarship for each school year. Eligibility for the EdChoice Expansion Scholarship is based on income guidelines.

Academic Excellence
Mount Notre Dame High School prides itself on its academic rigor. The school offers 20 Advanced Placement courses for academic advancement.
Athletics
MND has won 25 state championships and six state runner up titles in five different sports. Fall sports include cross country, field hockey, golf, soccer, tennis, volleyball. Basketball, bowling, and swimming & diving are in the winter. MND's spring sports are lacrosse, softball, and track & field.
Admission Process
