A Brief History
Muhlenberg College was founded in 1848 as the Allentown Seminary by Samuel K. Brobst, a Reformed Lutheran minister. From 1867 to 1905, the college was located in Allentown's Trout Hall. In 2019, Kathleen E. Harring was named as its 13th president and its first female president.
