From College to the Pros: Integrating Your NCAA Football 25 Road to Glory Player into Madden NFL 25
As Madden NFL 25 celebrates the franchise's 25th anniversary, fans are diving into the game's various modes, from Franchise Mode to Ultimate Team, to make the most out of the series' legacy. With the return of College Football 25, a highly requested feature has also arrived: Madden 25 integration. One of the standout features available in Madden NFL 25 is the ability to import players from NCAA Football's Road to Glory mode, seamlessly integrating your favorite college athletes into Madden's professional landscape. This crossover adds a deeper, more personalized connection between the NCAA and Madden universes, allowing players to carry their legacy from college stardom to NFL greatness.
What is Road to Glory?
Road to Glory has returned in College Football 25, and the single-player mode lets you step into the shoes of a college footballer. In NCAA Football's Road to Glory, players start as high school athletes working toward a college scholarship. You can create your own player and follow their journey from the first steps on the College football field all the way to the NFL. The journey includes overcoming high school competitions, impressing college scouts, and eventually earning a spot on a college team. From there, players control every aspect of their athlete's rise to fame, competing for championships and perfecting their skills on the field. By the time players reach their senior year, they're groomed for the NFL draft, creating a natural progression into Madden's pro league.
The idea of transferring a player from Road to Glory into Madden NFL 25 allows for a richer storytelling experience as users see their custom player's journey go from college stardom to the pro level. For fans who have invested time developing their player's skills and stats in NCAA Football, this feature is an exciting way to continue the storyline.
High School Beginnings
High school is where it all starts-where you’ve got to play your heart out to lock down that scholarship. What will you decide? Start as an elite prospect and chase a spot on a powerhouse team like the Georgia Bulldogs, Oregon Ducks, or even the current No. 1, Ohio State? Will you rise through the ranks from an overlooked recruit, or come in as a top prospect and fight to stay on top?
College Choices
So, you’ve finally wrapped up your senior year… what’s next? The NFL Draft, of course. Will you go number one overall, slip into the mid-rounds, or maybe not get drafted at all? Making it to the NFL isn’t the end of the journey-it’s just the beginning.

How to Export a College Football 25 Road to Glory Player to Madden 25
When you take a player through multiple seasons in College Football 25 Road to Glory, the option to "Leave for the NFL" will become available after your junior year. If you were able to redshirt, it will technically become available after your redshirt sophomore year.
This is only available at the End of Season Recap stage, so continuing into another season will mean you have to finish it out before the option becomes available again. You won't start at the same overall rating in Madden 25, but you will get a head start and be able to skip any creation steps.
When you choose "Leave for the NFL," it will be followed by a few more confirmation screens where you need to choose to declare for the draft, hit export, and wait for the "exported successfully" prompt.
How to Import a College Football 25 Player into Madden 25 Superstar Mode
After you've done that, head into Madden 25 Superstar Mode to start a new career and you should automatically be prompted to create a new player or import one from College Football 25. Hit "import" and you'll automatically have the same player details from Road to Glory, but most physical traits and your build can be customized.
You'll still be able to go through and alter details about appearance including facial features, hair, and facial hair. The game will give you a default archetype based on your player's overall build from College Football 25, but you can customize all skill ratings and view the maximum each can reach at the build screen.

You can also customize height, weight, and build type if you wanna change that up for any reason. From there, it's all up to you and however your Madden 25 Superstar Mode journey rolls on.
The Transfer Process: A Step-by-Step Guide
The transfer process is designed to be intuitive. Here's how it works:
- Complete Road to Glory: First, play through NCAA Football's Road to Glory mode until your player reaches the end of their college career. It's essential to save your progress and final stats to transfer the data accurately. Progress to the point in Road to Glory where one can go to the pros. After the end of your player’s third college season, you should notice a ‘Leave for the NFL’ tab on the Actions screen.
- Create an Export File: At the end of your Road to Glory journey, you'll have the option to create an export file. Choose the export option to transfer your file over. This file contains all the relevant data needed to import your player into Madden.
- Load the Export File in Madden NFL 25: When starting Madden's Franchise or Superstar Mode, select the option to import your player from NCAA Football. After this, go into Madden 25 Superstar Mode, select the same position and players will get a notification to import the file. Be mindful that this must be done on the same account as the CFB 25 file. Navigate to your export file, and your Road to Glory player will be ready for the NFL draft.
- Customize Further in Madden: Once imported, you have additional customization options. You can tweak your player's appearance, assign them to a specific team, and adjust attributes to better fit NFL standards.
Benefits of Importing Road to Glory Players
There are several advantages to importing Road to Glory players into Madden, offering players a unique blend of customization and narrative continuity:
- Enhanced Personalization: Your Road to Glory player already has a backstory, stats, and skills that you've honed in NCAA Football. This adds a personalized layer to Madden's NFL universe, making your player's professional journey feel like a continuation rather than a fresh start.
- Skill Boosts and Realistic Progression: Since your imported player is a college graduate, they'll come with skills and attributes developed in Road to Glory. This enables a smoother, more realistic NFL transition, giving your player an edge over rookies created directly in Madden. If you import a character from College Football 25’s Road to Glory to Madden 25, you get additional creation points beyond the base cap of 15. In addition, if you won a Heisman Trophy, there will be a special cut scene with commentators talking about your college career.
- Increased Replayability: Playing through both Road to Glory and Madden NFL 25 with the same athlete adds depth and replay value. You can replay their college career to test different strategies, positions, or schools before importing them to see how these choices impact their NFL career.
Tips for Creating a Successful Road to Glory Player
If you're planning to import your Road to Glory player into Madden, here are a few tips to ensure they're NFL-ready:
- Focus on Essential Skills: Concentrate on building skills that are crucial for NFL gameplay. For instance, quarterbacks should focus on accuracy and awareness, while wide receivers should prioritize speed and catching abilities. Tailoring skills to an NFL role ensures a better transition.
- Choose a Balanced Position: Some positions translate better in Madden than others, with quarterbacks, running backs, and wide receivers typically seeing the most seamless integration. Consider choosing one of these positions for the best experience in both games.
- Play with Long-Term Strategy in Mind: Since your Road to Glory player is destined for the NFL, think long-term during their college career. Avoid reckless plays and focus on developing attributes that align with the NFL role you envision.
What's New in Madden NFL 25's Franchise Mode?
In Madden NFL 25, the Franchise Mode has been revamped to offer a more immersive experience, making it an excellent place for your Road to Glory import. Here, you can take control not only as a player but also as an owner, allowing you to manage the business side of the game. This feature is particularly exciting for users who want a fully immersive NFL experience, where they can follow their player from college recruit to NFL superstar to team owner.

For Road to Glory imports, Franchise Mode offers more than just player development; it provides a storyline that extends beyond the field. Your custom player's growth can impact team dynamics, gameplay strategy, and franchise success, allowing for a richer experience.
Sphere of Influence
This year introduces a new feature called “Sphere of Influence,” where your actions and words actually impact your team. Say the wrong thing to your head coach? You could get benched, lose playing time, or even find yourself traded.
The Legacy Continues
One of the most satisfying aspects of the Road to Glory to Madden transition is the continuity of your player's legacy. The journey from high school hopeful to college star and finally to NFL legend feels more impactful when it's all part of a single narrative. Madden NFL 25 capitalizes on this potential by offering a gameplay experience that isn't just about individual matches but about building a legacy that spans a player's entire career.
For long-time Madden and NCAA Football fans, this integration represents the essence of sports gaming-a chance to create, shape, and celebrate a player's journey across multiple stages.
Some Disappointments
Unfortunately, there are a few things missing from College Football 26 that some fans were really hoping for. The big one? Full high school games or even a full season. Players want to experience an entire career arc-but hey, if we keep going backward, are we going to get Pee Wee Football next? What’s more disappointing, though, is the absence of certain positions, especially edge rushing. Not being able to play on the defensive line is a let-down, especially for those of us dreaming of becoming the next Aaron Donald or J.J. Watt.
Looking Ahead: Madden NFL 26 and College Football 26
It’s been a few days, but we finally have confirmation: Madden NFL 26 and College Football 26 will feature a seamless way to transfer your player between the two games. This has me intrigued on so many levels, whether it’s for my own personal playthrough or watching full career journeys on YouTube. With all the great features in College Football 25, I can only imagine what CFB26 is going to bring.
