This scholarship is also automatic.
Other Financial Aid Sources
The University's financial assistance to international students is growing. Academic-based scholarships are available for students with desirable academic credentials and exceptional scores on the ACT or SAT. United States embassies and major binational culture centers may also provide information about other sources of financial aid.

Important Considerations
Payment Options and Deadlines
Purdue University Northwest generates electronic bills (eBill Statements) every month for student accounts with balances. Charges not covered by anticipated financial assistance are due by the tuition due date for each specific bill. Students who register for classes must pay all tuition and fees as billed unless they officially withdraw from the university or drop classes via the Student Scheduling Assistant in their myPNW portal by the add/drop deadline.

Refunds and Withdrawals
Students are eligible for a tuition refund or adjustment only when classes are dropped by the add/drop deadline. Notifying the instructor or ceasing to attend the class does not constitute an authorized withdrawal.
International Student Requirements
The Department of Homeland Security requires Northwest to certify that international students have been accepted for full-time enrollment and have sufficient funding to meet all expenses for tuition, housing, transportation, and other costs.
Housing and Meal Plans
All incoming undergraduate students, including international students, are placed in a residence hall by the director of residential life. There are seven resident facilities, including traditional dorm rooms and apartment-style living. All NNU students living on campus are required to purchase a meal plan.
Living on Campus
One of the reasons international students choose NNU is because of the residential experience. All incoming undergraduate students, including international students, are placed in a residence hall by the director of residential life. There are seven resident facilities, including traditional dorm rooms and apartment-style living. Your room is equipped with everything you need to study and live comfortably. You may have questions or concerns as valued residents on campus.
All residence halls have live-in staff: Resident Directors (RDs) and Resident Assistants (RAs). RDs are adult employees of NNU living on the main floor of the facility. RAs are student staff living on the hall with students.
The student center and cafeteria are important gathering places for the NNU community. All NNU students living on campus are required to purchase a meal plan. The cafeteria operates on a meal credit system. Students have an account accessed by their ID card.
Business Office Services
Business Office services are available for payment of fees, traffic fines, and to pick up work study checks. Personal checks may also be cashed (up to \$100 with I.D.).
Note
Fees and expenses listed are correct at the time of publication but are subject to change. The University reserves the right to increase prices and/or discontinue scholarships at any time. Tuition and fees are subject to change by the Board of Trustees. Books and supplies for some programs may exceed estimates, and some courses may require a mandatory eBook fee payable at the time of registration.
