Health Insurance Requirements

**Massachusetts institutions of higher learning are required by Commonwealth Law to enroll all qualified students in a health insurance plan that meets or exceeds state minimum requirements. NUSHP is the university’s student health plan administered by Blue Cross/Blue Shield of Massachusetts.

Cost of Attendance (COA) Components

For students interested in pursuing financial assistance or educational loans, additional educational costs, known as Cost of Attendance (COA) components, can be included in the calculation of aid and loan eligibility.

Northeastern is committed to making education within reach and affordable for our military-affiliated students. servicemembers and their spouses are eligible to receive an amended tuition rate of $259 per semester hour for our Bachelor Completion Programs through the College of Professional Studies.

If delinquency continues to a subsequent term, the late fee assessment cycle will start again.

Program Eligibility for Financial Aid

The N.U.in Program is not eligible for federal financial aid. The London Scholars programs is not eligible for federal financial aid. Fall 2025 NYC Scholars will not be eligible for federal or state aid during the first year of their program. Upon successful completion of the program, NYC Scholars will transition to the Boston campus for Fall 2026 and eligible students can apply for federal or state aid.
