The College of Professional Studies offers everyone the opportunity to take any course at the undergraduate and graduate level with just a few simple steps. If you have a high school diploma or GED certificate, you can enroll in any undergraduate-level class immediately. If you intend to apply to a degree program, you should complete an online application. If you wish to pursue a degree or certificate program in the future, you will be required to complete the formal admissions process for that program. If you are currently in the process of applying to a graduate program and can provide an undergraduate diploma, you may complete up to two graduate level courses as a Special Student.

Foundation Year is a first-year college program for students who reside in the City of Boston and/or attend a Boston Public High School. Thanks to a tight-knit cohort and personalized advising model, students are continuously supported in academics, community building, systems navigation, and personal development. We are so proud of our Foundation Year program, the team that make it run, and roughly 100 students this program serves every year.
