However, fees such as drop/add fees, late registration fees, parking, and housing deposits are not covered by athletics scholarships per NCAA rules.
Student-athletes receiving a full or book scholarship have course-required books paid for directly at the University Bookstore. The book scholarship covers only books cited as required on the course syllabus. Books obtained through the athletics scholarship must be returned to the Bookstore during the week of final exams. Student-athletes on a book scholarship cannot accept cash for their books and must inform the Bookstore staff of their scholarship status. Reimbursement is available for required course materials not available at the University Bookstore.

For student-athletes with a full or room scholarship residing on campus, the cost of the room is paid directly to Miner Village by the Athletics Department. A room scholarship covers housing costs from the first day of classes until the conclusion of the academic year, as per NCAA rules. Student-athletes residing off-campus and/or receiving a board or full scholarship receive a monthly room/board allowance via check or direct deposit.
Outside scholarships (aid from any source other than athletics) can impact individual and team financial aid limitations.
