Most students enter UMIE in the fall to begin their internship search with the expert guidance of our staff. The program offers opportunities to apply for over 20 internships, learn from employers and previous interns, and gain active networking practice through live events. Students can polish off their prep by learning about budgeting skills and workplace dynamics, and gain access to scholarship funds, travel assistance, and alumni networks.

UMIE also offers scholarships and stipends to students, ranging from $500-$2,000. If an internship takes a student to a new city, the program helps navigate travel, housing, and start building a local professional network.
