Palmer College of Chiropractic: Leading the Way in Continuing Education
Palmer College of Chiropractic, the institution that founded the chiropractic profession over 125 years ago, continues to set the standard through its comprehensive continuing education (CE) programs. These programs are designed to equip Doctors of Chiropractic with the knowledge and skills necessary to excel in their practice, fulfill licensure requirements, and remain at the forefront of chiropractic care. Palmer College offers a variety of courses through Palmer Online, live seminars, and Homecoming events on both campuses.
Palmer Online: Accessible and Practical Learning
Palmer Online, Palmer College’s online CE program, offers a convenient and accessible way for Doctors of Chiropractic to earn CE credits. The platform provides useful, practical content structured in modules, allowing practitioners to complete an hour of CE during breaks in patient care. Mary Frost, D.C., M.B.A., senior director for continuing education, spearheaded the development and rollout of the new learning platform. She emphasizes the importance of providing high-quality continuing education that allows doctors to manage their practice, meet licensure requirements, and strive for continuous improvement and lifelong learning.
The accessibility of Palmer Online is evident in the fact that Doctors of Chiropractic have been known to take classes on holidays, with many now completing over 20 hours of CE online annually. Users can easily search for CE classes approved for their state and filter by topic, speaker, or title.
Legendary Homecoming: A Celebration of Learning and Connection
Palmer College's Homecoming events offer a unique opportunity to earn up to 24 hours of continuing education through live sessions on the Main Campus in Davenport, Iowa. Attendees can reconnect with fellow alumni, fostering a sense of community and shared dedication to excellence. The Homecoming event includes a Special Anatomy Lab Add-On Package for those seeking an even more immersive learning experience. Homecoming is a legendary celebration of learning, connection, and inspiration.
