The AAF-Greater Evansville awards scholarships to deserving high school and/or college students yearly in April. The Foundation will send a scholarship payable directly to the selected student’s university on their behalf to fund educational pursuits. Roshana Gossoff Scholarship

A ticket to the ¡BRAVO! Be an undergraduate student enrolled at a two- or four-year accredited college or university for the 2025-2026 academic year. This scholarship honors the life and legacy of Roshana Gossoff, a beloved communicator and FIU alumna whose passion, warmth, and dedication left a lasting mark on the South Florida community, HPRA, and those she inspired. A ticket to the ¡BRAVO! Be an undergraduate student enrolled at Florida International University for the 2025-2026 academic year.

NASCAR/Wendell Scott Sr. Award

Full-time undergraduate or graduate students attending four-year HACU-member institutions with a declared major in Engineering, Business, Public Relations, Mass Media, Sports Marketing, Marketing, Management, or Technology. Students must possess a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0., and attend school in Florida, Georgia, or North Carolina. Upon notification of selection, scholarship recipients are required to submit a headshot electronically to HACU for NASCAR press purposes, and encouraged to apply to the NASCAR Diversity Internship Program (www.nascardiversity.com).

Catherine W. Pierce Scholarship

Catherine W. Pierce scholarship was established to support students who are majoring in disciplines within the Arts and/or History. Mrs. Pierce had a great interest in helping deserving students pursue the fields of Art or History.
