About Red Ventures
Founded in 2000 by Ric Elias and Dan Feldstein, Red Ventures employs more than 1,700 people in four locations. Red Ventures is a global, multi-faceted company with a start-up mentality. With a focus on establishing strategic partnerships with Fortunate 500 companies, Red Ventures grew rapidly within those first 10 years, quickly becoming a unicorn by utilizing proprietary technologies to win in the digital marketing space. In 2015, the company entered the age of acquisitions and began growing its own portfolio of owned and operated businesses. Every day, Red Ventures helps millions of people discover pertinent information that helps them make some of life’s biggest decisions, from their health to their home to their finances, among the plethora of industries in which they operate.
Through a combination of strategic marketing and sales, Red Ventures optimizes the customer lifecycle for large brands, from initial interest in the marketplace to the end transaction. Success is driven by advanced Internet analytics, proprietary technology and the company’s greatest competitive advantage - the people. The company has been featured on the Inc. 500 list and has twice been named the Best Place to Work in Charlotte. Red Ventures is a portfolio of several diverse businesses, with one shared culture and one community.
The Red Ventures Internship Experience
The Red Ventures internship program, particularly the summer business analyst internship, attracts college students from around the country and can lead to full-time work at the marketing and sales company. Unlike many summer internships, Red Ventures treats interns as full-time hires. As a result, interns regularly have opportunities to be involved with complicated business decisions. By the end of the summer, top performers receive a full-time job offer.
Perks and Benefits
The internship program offers a range of perks and benefits, including:

- Free housing in corporate apartments.
- Sponsored activities.
- Access to C-level company leadership throughout the summer.
According to Jessica Hensen, college recruiter at Red Ventures, “We put students in high-impact roles, so they can get hands-on experience from day one. It’s not your typical internship by any means.” The internship program provides students with immediate access to company leadership and ongoing training in business strategies and negotiation.
Hands-on Experience
A business analyst and former intern at Red Ventures, Emily Maciag said, “My summer internship experiences were the most exciting summers of my college career. Red Ventures gave me ample opportunity learn hands-on, and I was the one actually analyzing the data and providing insight that influenced decisions.”
The Launch Program internship is not a chance to sit on the sidelines to learn how Red Ventures does things. Interns join a functional area in the organization such as SEO, Customer Experience, Paid Media, and Business Operations to find their niche and understand the challenges they face. As an Analyst Intern, you will bridge the gap between the company's vast data landscape and impactful business solutions. Your focus will not just be on the technical side, but also on the application of your solutions in a real business context. Interns translate complex business problems into clear, measurable projects. Familiarity with machine learning, statistical modeling, and optimization, with hands-on experience working directly or indirectly on a related problem is considered a plus.
The Launch Program
As part of the RV Launch Program, interns join a tight-knit cohort of over-achievers. The company looks for people who have a proven track record of success and have truly taken ownership of big initiatives - on campus, in internships, and/or in service programs. The Launch Program is an opportunity to onboard into a full-time role at Red Ventures in a cohort-style environment that gives in-depth training around RV’s beliefs, culture, business model, and leadership.
As a Launch cohort member, interns skip the “entry-level” “grunt-work,” and start making a real impact on Day 1. As part of the Red Ventures Launch program, interns find unparalleled opportunities to make a real impact and advance their career - fast.
