The college provides various resources to assist students and alumni in their career development:

  • Center for Career and Professional Development: Students are encouraged to visit their advisors at the Center for Career and Professional Development. They should continue to visit the office two to three times during their second year.
  • Graduate School Preparation: Students are advised to take graduate school exams in the summer before senior year and in fall, if needed. They should apply for graduate school programs in the early fall, utilizing the office to assist with writing cover letters, help with applications, and any other needs.

Security and Safety

The college’s annual Security & Fire Safety Report discloses campus crime statistics and details security policies. As part of the federal Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act (20 USC § 1092(f)), otherwise known as the Clery Act, colleges are required to publish annual security reports. The Clery Act encourages the reporting and collection of accurate campus crime statistics to promote crime awareness and enhance campus safety.
