Minor Programs
A minor consists of at least six courses, usually totaling 18 to 24 credits, defined by one or several academic departments. Minors are commonly declared at the end of the sophomore year, and students are assigned a faculty advisor in that program upon declaration. Successful completion of at least one course in the discipline is a prerequisite to such declaration.
Declaring a Minor
