Join us for a Fraternity & Sorority Life Reunion celebrating all the fraternity and sorority organizations throughout Sacred Heart's history. Show your letters and reunite with your brothers and sisters. Sacred Heart's fraternities and sororities will also be recognized during the men's hockey game immediately following the reunion reception. The reception will include light bites and soft drinks.

Back with Heart: Campus Connections

Stop by McMahon Commons to reconnect with your academic colleges, visit the Center for Career & Professional Development, learn about SHU graduate degree options and meet with various SHU departments. This is a great opportunity to explore the resources available to alumni and stay informed about the latest developments at Sacred Heart.

Pioneer Fest

Before the Homecoming football game kick off, meet up with all your friends and classmates for Pioneer Fest, an enduring Homecoming tradition. The package includes the Heroes with Heart breakfast, complimentary soft drinks, tailgate food options, and a ticket to the football game. A cash bar will also be available. Enjoy a festive atmosphere, reconnect with old friends, and show your Pioneer pride.

Family Fun Zone

Attending Homecoming with little Pioneers? Head over to the Valentine Health & Recreation Center for a fun space with games and interactive fun! This is a perfect way to keep the younger generation entertained and engaged during the weekend's festivities.

Homecoming Football Game: Pioneers vs. Virginia-Lynchburg

It's game time, Pioneer Alumni! Fill Campus Field with energy as the Pios take the field for the Homecoming game. The event features a pre-game tribute honoring all military members. The Outpost beer garden will be open during Homecoming for a separate charge payable at the entrance to the Outpost.

Homecoming Alumni Mass

Celebrate Mass as an alumni community as we pray especially for all our fellow alumni who have passed in the past year. This is a meaningful way to honor the memory of those who have contributed to the Sacred Heart community and to come together in faith and reflection.

Unforgettable Fire: U2 Tribute Show

Unforgettable Fire, or ”UF,” was born on New Year's Day in 1995 as one of the first U2 Tribute Bands to ever perform in America. Enjoy a high-energy performance by Unforgettable Fire, a U2 tribute show.

Registration

Homecoming 2025 registration has closed. Additionally, only tickets for athletic events will be available for same day purchasing.

Parking

Parking will be available throughout campus on Friday. If you are planning to attend the men's hockey game, we encourage parking on Park Avenue Campus to check in and taking SHU-provided buses/shuttles to the Martire Family Arena. at the McMahon Commons Presentation Room (first floor) located in the middle of the Park Avenue Campus. West Campus (3135 Easton Turnpike, Fairfield, CT). *Will need to take SHU shuttles from location to Park Avenue Campus.

Tailgating Policy

Please note that tailgating is not permitted in any parking lot during Homecoming weekend.

On-Campus Animal Policy

Only certified service dogs will be permitted on campus.
