Exploring Summer Classes and Courses at Saddleback College
Saddleback College provides a diverse range of educational opportunities, including summer classes and courses, designed to cater to a variety of students and community members. These programs range from traditional college courses to enrichment programs for children, all while upholding a commitment to non-discrimination and accessibility.

Community Education: Summer Experience for Children
In partnership with the Capistrano Unified School District (CUSD), Saddleback Community Education offers the Summer Experience for children, a program designed to provide summer enrichment classes for children ages 5-14 at various CUSD school sites. These classes are held Mondays through Thursdays at multiple CUSD locations.
Registration Information
It is essential to pre-register for these classes. Classes that do not reach the required minimum enrollment by the week before will be cancelled. Registration closes at midnight prior to the first class, and there are no same-day or drop-in registrations. Registration can be completed online through Saddleback College Community Education.

Important General Information
Material fees are due and payable to the instructor on the first day of class. Program staff will escort students to their appointed classroom or field. Pick up is in front of the school, unless otherwise noted online. Adherence to the Late Pick-Up Policy is crucial, so parents are advised to arrive early to pick up their children. It is important to share any relevant information, such as allergies or specific pick-up instructions, with the program staff.
First-Time Registration
For those registering online for the first time, creating a profile/account for each child is necessary. On the Log In page, click "Create New Profile" and build an profile/account for each child you wish to register. Proposing a Program
Those interested in teaching their own Before and After School Enrichment program, or sharing a special hobby, passion, or skill, are encouraged to propose a program.
Online Class Offerings
Saddleback College is recognized as a leader in online class offerings within the California community colleges. It boasts 132 online degrees, certificates and occupational skills awards. Online classes at Saddleback College are taught by the same dedicated professors who teach on campus. These professors are able to support their students with an array of high-quality services and content, such as online counseling, online tutoring, and cutting-edge technology.

Online Degrees and Certificates
Currently, Saddleback offers 132 fully online degrees and/or certificates. They also offer several Certificates of Achievement in areas such as Entrepreneurship, General Business, Business Leadership, Business Communications, and Marketing.
Searching for Online Courses
Students can search for online courses in the schedule as well as courses that have zero textbook costs (ZTC). Save time and money by using search features and looking for special icons in the schedule. The majority of our programs have online classes available.
