The Scholarship America Hub is an online platform designed to connect students with a wide range of scholarship opportunities. It streamlines the application process by allowing students to complete a single application that can be matched with multiple scholarships for which they are eligible.

General Eligibility Requirements

While specific eligibility criteria vary depending on the scholarship, some general requirements apply to most programs administered through the Scholarship America Hub. These include:

Age and Enrollment Status

Applicants are generally required to be at least 17 years of age. The student must plan to enroll in full-time undergraduate study at an accredited two- or four-year college, university, or vocational/technical school (domestic or international) for the entire upcoming academic year.

Academic Standing

A current, complete transcript of grades is a standard requirement. Grade reports are not accepted. NOTE: If you are providing SAT or ACT test scores, and those scores are not listed on your high school transcript, you will need to upload a copy of your test score report(s) separately. Unofficial or online transcripts must display student name, school name, grades and credit hours for each course and term in which each course was taken.

In order to set up an account, you will need to use your assigned LOSFA ID or LASecureID. Once logged into your account, you will be able to check your TOPS status, ACT Score, notifications, etc.

Completing the Application

Applicants will be asked to provide their contact information, parent, or guardian information (this should be the parent who meets the eligibility criteria), high school and post-secondary education data and transcript information, work experience, activities, awards and honors, goals and aspirations, and any applicable unusual personal or family circumstances. As part of your application, you must upload a current, complete transcript of grades.
