The Ceddia Union Building (CUB): Your Campus Hub
The Ceddia Union Building (CUB) serves as a central hub for student activities and university events. It houses various amenities and services, making it a vital resource for the campus community, available for student groups and university departments/committees to reserve. Check out the reservations page to check out the available rooms and review building policies.
Entertainment and Recreation at the RedZone
Located on the ground floor of the CUB, The RedZone offers a variety of recreational activities including Pool, Air Hockey, Arcade Machines, Board Games, Basketball, Ping Pong, and Shuffleboard. Within the GameZone, you can play XBox 1, Switch, PS4, PS5, Playstation VR, and PC. It's a great place to unwind and socialize.
Digital Advertising Opportunities
The Ceddia Union Building offers digital advertising for clubs and organizations on campus. Digital signage is available throughout the building on LCD monitors as an informational display used to advertise campus wide events. To get information displayed in time to properly advertise, adhere to the policies and guidelines. You will need to submit a different form for each flier. Please note, the university will only accept vertical documents (the same as the great wall posters) and documents should be submitted in either .jpg, .png, .gif, or .MP4 files. This process is only to be used for the 4 screens in the CUB on the Great Wall.

Academic Calendar and Important Dates
Staying informed about important academic dates and deadlines is crucial for academic success.
Schedule Adjustments
Schedule adjustment for returning students may be done through the myShip Experience portal, which may be reached from off-campus using any web browser. To schedule courses which are restricted or closed, students must contact the appropriate department office for an override. Entering freshmen will not be permitted to schedule adjust.
Dropping and Adding Courses
The last day to drop and add classes for ALL students in Part of Term 1 should be carefully noted. Even if you do not attend the first class, you are still responsible for dropping the course during schedule adjustment. Otherwise, you may remain scheduled for the course and receive a grade of "F" for nonattendance.
Course Withdrawal
Withdrawal from courses with "W" grade begins for ALL students online for Part of Term 1. The final day for withdrawal from classes with "W" grade for Part of Term 1 (Full Term) should be marked on your calendar. The deadline to withdraw without academic penalty (with grades of "W") is Monday, November 2, 2026, for Part of Term 1. To withdraw completely from the University, you must notify your academic dean's office. If you stop attending class but do not withdraw, you will remain registered for the course and will receive a grade of “F” for the course. You will not receive refunds or adjustments to your account if you do not officially notify the University of your withdrawal, according to the refund policy mandated by the Board of Governors of the State System of Higher Education.
Graduation Application
If you plan to graduate in December or January, you must submit an application by Monday, August 3, 2026.
