Flight Sciences Engineering Internship

Sierra Space seeks a motivated and enthusiastic Flight Sciences Engineering Intern to join their innovative team. The intern will work closely with experienced engineers to support various aspects of flight sciences, including aerodynamics, loads and dynamics, integrated thermal analysis, vehicle performance, stability and control, and integrated testing for aerospace vehicles. Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in performing aerodynamic, thermal, performance, and dynamic load analysis for aerospace vehicles.

Sierra Space is also seeking an XRVR (Extended Reality/Virtual Reality) Developer Intern to help implement the next generation of XRVR technologies. Sierra Space is looking for a diligent and innovative Guidance, Navigation, and Control (GNC) Engineering Intern to join their specialized GNC team. The intern will assist in the design, analysis, and testing of GNC systems for aerospace applications. This role provides a unique opportunity to gain real-world experience in the field of aerospace engineering and work on advanced technologies that contribute to the success of our space missions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • The Sierra Space Internship is available to sophomore-level and above undergraduates and graduate students.

Compensation:

Intern pay is determined by the level of courses completed during the school term prior to starting the internship, not by the courses the intern will be taking following the internship.
