Orientation and Welcome
Online Orientation
New first-year and transfer students are invited to complete their required Pitt Online Orientation in mid-May (for students beginning in the fall term) or late-October (for students beginning in the spring term). This online orientation delivers crucial campus information, resources, and engagement opportunities through a series of learning modules. Academic schools and advisors provide specific information to admitted students regarding academic advising and course registration through this platform.

This is also an opportunity to develop close friendships and meaningful skills to thrive in the first year of college.
Welcome Week
New first-year and transfer students admitted to the Fall semester are invited to attend Fall Welcome Week events.
