The Health Leaders Summer Academy (HLSA) is sponsored by the University of Central Florida College of Medicine, Office of Access, Belonging & Community Engagement. It is an immersive, educational summer experience for high school students (10-12th) who have a strong passion for pursuing a career in one of the allied health sciences or medicine. The goal of the HLSA is to support students, particularly those from low-income and first-generation in college families, to plan their future educational goals in their areas of interest and connect with healthcare professionals from diverse backgrounds and specialties.
Important Information Regarding Enrollment and Fees
It is important to note that a $100 Late Registration Fee applies to students who enroll following the close of Registration or who enroll for the first time that term during Late Registration. This fee applies on the grade forgiveness deadline. Students are encouraged to register early to avoid this additional cost.
