TAMU Baseball Student Tickets: A Comprehensive Guide
Attending Texas A&M University (TAMU) baseball games is a cherished tradition for students. This article provides a detailed guide to navigating the student ticket system, ensuring you can cheer on the Aggies from the stands.
Accessing Sporting Events
A sports pass grants access to all home football games for the regular season and the opportunity to attend home events for all other ticketed sports during both the fall and spring semesters on a first-come, first-served basis. Eligible spring sports include men's basketball, women's basketball, indoor and outdoor track & field, baseball, and softball.
Digital Ticket Pull System
In response to safety concerns related to the in-person ticket pull process, Texas A&M University transitioned to a digital ticket pull system. This new system aims to prioritize student safety and align with best practices in student ticket distribution.
Key Features of the Digital System
- Seniority Prioritization: Ticket access is prioritized by student classification: seniors (90+ hours), juniors (60+ hours), sophomores (30+ hours), and freshmen (30 or fewer hours). The online pull process begins 12 days before the game for seniors and nine days out for freshmen.
- Group Pulling: Students can create or join groups of up to 10 people, including guests, to sit together. However, ticket allocation is based on the lowest classification within the group, ensuring seniority is still a factor. Guest tickets must be included in the group count of 10 if they are being purchased.
- Ticket Transfer Restrictions: Student tickets may only be transferred to other students. Converting student sports passes/student tickets to guest tickets is no longer possible.
- Guest Tickets: Each sports pass holder is limited to only one guest ticket per home game, subject to availability.
Ticket Pull Schedule
The online ticket pull schedule varies depending on university holidays but generally begins 12 days before gameday for seniors and nine days out for freshmen.

Group Ticket Information
- How are group tickets assigned? Tickets are assigned based on the lowest classification in the group. For example, if a group includes 9 seniors and 1 junior, the group’s location will be based on the junior’s classification.
- Can I join a group on someone else’s pull day? You can only join a group on or after your own classification’s pull day. For example, if you’re a sophomore joining a group created by a senior, you will need to wait until sophomore day to join the group and pull your ticket.
- Can I create or join more than one group? You can create or join as many groups as you want, but only the group you select when you pull your ticket will determine who you’re standing with for that game.
- If I create a group for the first game, can I keep the same group for the season? Groups do not carry over between games. You will need to create or join a new group for each game and select it when pulling your ticket.
- If someone is invited to a group and doesn’t respond, are they holding up the group? No. Only students who join a group are considered part of the group, and they must select the group when pulling their ticket to be assigned with the group.
- Can I change which group I’m in after I pull my ticket? No. Once you’ve pulled your ticket, your order is final. You won’t be able to switch groups or change who’s in your group for that game.
- What should I do if I see a message that the group I’m trying to pull tickets with is full? Groups are limited to 10 members. If the group you’re trying to pull tickets with is already full, you won’t be able to be assigned with that group for that game. You can either create or join a different group or choose to pull without a group. Be sure to coordinate with your friends ahead of time to make sure no one gets left out.
- How can I tell if someone in my group has a guest ticket? Once a group is created, it can’t be changed or managed - so it’s important to coordinate with your friends ahead of time. Make sure to confirm who plans to purchase a guest ticket before pulling to avoid any surprises or accidentally leaving someone out.
- I thought everyone in my group was a senior, but one of us is actually classified as a junior. How does that affect our ticket location? Ticket assignment is based on the lowest classification in the group. If the junior is the last to pull with the group on Junior Day, your group will be assigned based on that junior classification.
Guest Tickets
Each sports pass holder is limited to one guest ticket per home game, subject to availability. Guest tickets may be obtained in one of two ways:
- Buy a full-price guest ticket each home game week, if available.
- Convert a sports pass not being used for a student ticket to a guest ticket.
Previously, it was possible to convert a student ticket to a guest ticket, but this option may no longer be available.
Important Considerations
- Deck Preferences: Deck preferences are not guarantees.
- Ticket Delivery: Tickets are not delivered immediately.
- Group Names: If you pull with a group, it will include the group's name.
Accessible Seating
Accessible student seating at Kyle Field is reserved for students with needs that prevent standing during games. These seats are located in Sections 231-232, 236-237 (second deck) and Section 120 (first deck). To request ADA seating during ticket pull, log in to your 12th Man Foundation account and follow the pull instructions. The first and second decks of the student seating area can be accessed via ADA-accessible elevators located at Entry 7 and Entry 9 on the east side of Kyle Field. Entry 7, closer to the north end, faces the University Center Garage, while Entry 9, closer to the south end, faces Aggie Park. Additionally, escalators in the northeast tower provide access to both the first and second decks.
12th Man Foundation
Carry your passion for Texas A&M Athletics beyond gameday by joining the 12th Man Foundation. Student Membership is open to all current Texas A&M students and runs from June 1 to May 31.
Resale Policy
As ticket holders, sports pass holders understand and abide by the 12th Man Foundation Donor & Ticket Policies, which includes the Student Sports Pass Resale Policy: Resale of student tickets (home, road, or postseason) and sports options for profit is prohibited. Students' sports options are heavily subsidized by season ticket holders. Former Students and Aggie fans have long been committed to maintaining the quality and size of the student allotment. In return, Texas A&M students, the 12th Man, are expected to honor this commitment. These tickets, home and away, are for student use only. Students found to be in violation of this policy will be penalized.
