W-9S Form
Domestic Students (US Citizens and Permanent Residents) need to fill out the W-9S form to capture your SSN for TCU. International Students, if you are an international student and have a SSN, fill out a W-9S form and submit the W-9 to the Registrar’s Office by October 22, 2025. This is done with the IRS W-9S form.
Tuition Refund Plan
If you have questions about the Tuition Refund Plan, you may contact A.W.G. Association’s Diagnostic and Statistical Manual - DSM - V. The Plan is a private insurance plan administered by A.W.G. account, and the credit can be seen on the next processed statement.

Orientation
Orientation is your first step in successfully transitioning to TCU. Parent & Family Orientation is a special program that runs concurrently with the student orientation program. The program is optional but highly encouraged. Through this program, parents can learn about the many offices, services, and academic programs TCU offers. Registration for 2026 Parent & Family Orientation will be available Spring 2026. Registration for Parent & Family Orientation is part of the student orientation registration process. These sessions are in-person orientations held on- campus. International students will attend an Orientation session in January just before classes begin. In addition to attend TCU Orientation, international students will participate in an additional orientation workshop hosted by International Student Services.

It’s possible to maximize your visit to Fort Worth by attending a Frog Camp that leads into an Orientation or an Orientation that leads into Frog Camp! Housing Application - Available May 1 - June 1. Check out Campus Dining - All first-year students must select the Unlimited Meal Plan when they complete the housing application.

Device Registration
Need help with your on-campus tech? You must register the MAC address of the device in myTCU before it can be connected. Log into my.tcu.edu and click on the Technology tile. Choose TCU Network Registration. Input your item information, add rows as needed, then Save and Submit.
Network Connectivity
Need help with your on-campus tech? A fast connection and has an ethernet port (Ex: game consoles, TVs, etc.). The IT Help Desk will provide you with a 5ft ethernet cable if you need one.
Wireless Network
To log onto the eduroam network, you need to follow certain steps.
Wired Network
Each student has one wired ethernet port and can choose which device to connect. Students will need a category 5e ethernet cable.
Allowed Devices
Am I allowed to connect my game console? How many devices am I allowed to register on the network for use on campus?
Prohibited Devices
Am I allowed to have a wireless router or network switch? Wireless routers are not allowed on campus.
Computer Recommendations
Should I purchase a laptop or desktop? It is purely a matter of personal preference.
Antivirus Software
Do I need antivirus software installed on my machine? Yes. It is recommended.
IT Support
You can bring your laptop to the IT Help Desk in the Library, and we can help you with TCU-related services.

Where can I get my computer hardware repaired?
Surge Protectors
Do I need a surge protector? Are devices for securing computers allowed in residence halls? Allowed. The surface of residence hall furniture will not have any punctuation.
