Scholarships with applications that are not part of the online application process may have their own deadlines. Selection Committees for the online applications due in March will review student applications in April and May.

Tax Documents: The parent and/or applicant’s most recent Federal Tax Return documents (2022 tax year or 2023 tax year, if available). The applicant’s parents 2023 and 2024 Federal Tax Return documents.
Letters of Recommendation: Two (2) letters of recommendation from professional and/or academic contact. Three (3) letters of recommendation specific to the CCF Scholarship. At least two letters must be from the current teachers, professors, community leaders, mentors, or counselors. One letter may be from community members, counselors, or another person who can speak to the applicant’s current academic merits and/or extracurricular and community service activities.
Academic Transcripts: The applicant’s most recent semester report card or transcript.
Essays: Two essays. All aspects of the written essays will be considered, including supporting details and mechanics.

Proof of Enrollment Forms: These forms are for the first payment request of a scholarship (or the only payment request for non-renewable scholarships). The form must be completed by your school’s registrar and returned to the Foundation to request payment.
Registration Renewal Forms: These are used for renewable scholarships and ask for additional information that will verify that you, the recipient, are maintaining the renewal requirements. If your school does not complete Registration Validation forms, you may send a copy of your transcript and class schedule for the coming term. Screenshots must contain your student ID number, full name, school’s name, and address for either the transcript or the schedule.

The requirements are specified by the individual donor or endowment. To be considered for this scholarship, you must meet the following minimum requirements: Current degree-seeking Franklin University graduate student that has successfully completed at least one trimester with a 3.5 cumulative GPA Completion and submission of a 1,000 word essay.
Choose Ohio First (COF) Scholarship: Choose Ohio First (COF) is a scholarship program funded by Franklin University and the Ohio Department of Higher Education that supports undergraduate and qualifying graduate students interested in pursuing a degree/credential in science, technology, engineering, mathematics, nursing or healthcare.
