Trenton Jamond Richardson, born on July 10, 1990, is a former American professional football player, whose college career at the University of Alabama set the stage for his entry into the National Football League (NFL).
Early Years and High School Success
Richardson's football journey began at Escambia High School in Pensacola, Florida. During his senior season, he rushed for 2,100 yards on 228 carries, scoring 25 touchdowns. A standout performance against Milton High School saw him rush for 419 yards on 29 carries and score six touchdowns, earning him ESPN RISE National Football Player of the Week honors. As a junior, he rushed for 407 yards in his opening game against Tate High School and finished the season with 1,390 yards and 13 touchdowns. He earned FSWA All-State 5A second team honors. As a senior, he made the FSWA 5A All-State First Team and was named 5A Florida Player of the Year and a finalist for the 2008 Mr. Football award.
