Accessing Your eBill
The primary portal for managing your student account is the eBill system. To access it:

Making Payments
Student Business Services offers several convenient methods for paying tuition and fees. Here's a breakdown of the payment process:
- You will want to review the information listed for the payment.
Paying with a Credit or Debit Card
- You will be required to enter the billing information listed for the specific card.

Paying with an Electronic Check
- If you are selecting the Electronic Check method You will select "Electronic Check" as the method of payment.
- The information screen will require different information to be entered since this is linked directly to a bank account.
Alert! From this step you will receive a confirmation message. If this is not received, your payment did not go through.
PayPath Payment
PayPath will have their statement listed for the service fee charge and the information to verify your payment amount and details.
Debit Card Payment
If your payment method is a debit card, you will select this option from the drop-down and follow each screen prompt as stated above.

Book Loans
Eligible Undergraduate, Graduate, Law, and Veterinary students may apply for a Book Loan in an amount less than or equal to $500 each semester. Students are allowed one book loan per fall, spring, and summer semesters. This program helps students afford essential textbooks and course materials.

Exemptions and Waivers
Student Business Services processes the Exemptions and Waivers for Texas Tech University. These exemptions and waivers can significantly reduce the cost of tuition for eligible students.
It is important to note that exemptions are not considered payment under state payment guidelines. A student who does not yet have the exemption applied to their account may still be subject to cancellation if they fail to meet the state payment requirements.
Texas Education Code section 54.2001 requires that in order for a student to receive exemptions and waivers, the student must meet the Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP) requirements for grade point average and not be considered enrolled in excessive hours. Texas Education Code section 54.2002 requires that a student be enrolled in state-funded courses in order to receive exemptions and waivers.
