Accreditation

Accreditation is a crucial aspect of any dental hygiene program. The Dental Hygiene Associate Degree program is accredited by the American Dental Association Commission On Dental Accreditation (CODA). Accreditation typically occurs every 7 years. For instance, a program might be up for accreditation again in 2026.

Cost of Attendance: A Detailed Breakdown

The Cost of Attendance (COA) is an estimated budget that includes various expenses a student may incur while attending college. It's important to note that the COA does not reflect actual charges but is an average based on estimated living costs typical of the region.

Northcentral Technical College (NTC), for example, uses a budget established by the Wisconsin Technical College System (WTCS) Financial Aid Budget Work Group to determine the cost of attendance. This budget is used to assess financial need for all students applying for financial aid. A student’s financial aid cannot exceed their cost of attendance.
