The University of Utah Student Health Insurance Plan (SHIP) offers substantial benefits for covered medical expenses at a reasonable cost.
Utah Global Student Health Insurance Plan (SHIP)
Utah Global has teamed up with Wellfleet Student and University Health Plans (UHP) to provide health insurance coverage for its students. All new Utah Global students are required to enroll in the Utah Global SHIP. This plan is administered by United Healthcare.
Coverage Details
The Utah Global SHIP offers a range of benefits to cover various medical expenses. Students are encouraged to review the coverage details by selecting the "Benefit Information” tab in the navigation menu on the left-hand side of this page. It is important to keep in mind that health insurance in the United States is different from that in other countries.
