Eligibility and Agreement Types
Eligibility for UCF Housing is based on student classification and the semester(s) for which housing is sought. It's important to note that eligibility for a particular type of housing does not guarantee availability, as it varies each year. Students participating in the UCF Online degree program are generally not eligible for on-campus housing.
UCF Housing offers different agreement lengths to accommodate various student needs:
- Academic Agreement: This two-semester agreement covers the Fall and Spring semesters.
- Annual Agreement: This three-semester agreement includes the Fall, Spring, and the following Summer semesters.

Rosen College Apartments
The Rosen College Apartments agreement includes Fall and Spring, with the option of adding Summer. Rosen housing applications operate on a first-come, first-served basis. Residents living in Rosen do not have to vacate their space during winter break. These apartments feature full kitchens and living rooms, as well as a private community pool.
The Housing Application Process
Lottery System
For Towers at Knights Plaza and NorthView, a lottery system is used to allocate housing spaces. Returning Residents, off-campus students, transfer students, and graduate students are eligible to apply and submit a prepayment during the lottery window.
Room Selection
Students who receive a confirmation in the lottery will be eligible to participate in Room Selection.

Applications for returning residents interested in living in the Rosen College Apartments open in early January, independent of the lottery process. The random selection lottery process for the academic year typically takes place from January 13 - January 23.
Housing Rates
Rental rates are listed by semester, per person, per room type, and are approved by the UCF Board of Trustees each year. All rates are subject to change.
Students with Disabilities
UCF provides reasonable housing accommodations for students with disabilities. Students needing an accommodation may choose to have DHRL Staff assign housing based on their approved accommodation, or they may choose to use the priority room selection process and select the housing of their choice.
