UCF Football Gameday: Navigating the Acrisure Bounce House Experience

UCF is dedicated to offering an exceptional gameday experience for every fan. Whether you're a seasoned member of the Big 12 family or an AlumKnight visiting from afar, understanding the stadium policies and gameday procedures will ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience at the Acrisure Bounce House.

Essential Tools: UCF Gameday App and Digital Ticketing

The official UCF Knights mobile app is your central hub for all things gameday. Available for free on both Apple and Android devices, the app provides access to student passes, news, and important information about your Knights. All tickets and parking passes are accessible via the UCF Gameday app (Apple), the UCF Knights app (Android), or at www.UCFKnights.com/Login. Students can claim their tickets by downloading the official UCF Gameday App.

Parking and Transportation

Fans driving to campus can find parking in various garages and lots. While some areas, particularly in the Gold Zone - Kenneth G. Dixon Athletics Village - require permits, free parking is available in most campus locations. To avoid gameday traffic, consider parking at Research Pavilion and utilizing the Park and Ride shuttle service. Garage H also offers $20 cash parking on gamedays. UCF operates game-day buses for all normally serviced apartment complexes with the exception of Northview, Tivoli and Northgate due to their close proximity to the stadium.

Tailgating: A Knight Tradition

Tailgating is a cherished tradition at UCF, offering a special time for family, friends, and alumni to reunite. UCF welcomes these gatherings and encourages all guests to enjoy the campus atmosphere. Prime tailgating spots on Memory Mall are available by reservation to students and alumni through the Knights on the Mall online reservation system. Tailgating activities typically begin several hours before kickoff.

Gameday Timeline and Events

Whether you're a long-time supporter or a first-time visitor, knowing the key gameday events will enhance your experience.

Entering Acrisure Bounce House: Know Your Gate

Premium seating areas within Acrisure Bounce House restrict concourse access to non-premium ticket holders. It's crucial to Know Your Gate before entering the stadium to ensure the quickest access to your seating section. Arrive early, as UCF Athletics encourages all fans to do so.

Important Security Measures: Clear Bag Policy and Metal Detection

To provide a safer environment and expedite entry, UCF has implemented a clear bag policy. Also, Metal Detection will be in effect. A bag check service is no longer provided at UCF Football games.

Understanding the Clear Bag Policy

UCF's clear bag policy limits the size and type of bags allowed into sporting events at FBC Mortgage Stadium. This policy aims to enhance safety and expedite the entry process.

Why a Clear Bag Policy?

The clear bag policy prioritizes the safety of guests, student-athletes, and staff. Clear bags provide an added layer of security, allowing law enforcement to easily identify prohibited items and resolve issues before fans enter the stadium. Clear bags are easier and faster to search, reducing faulty bag searches and supporting the Department of Homeland Security's "See Something, Say Something" campaign.

Expedited Entry

The clear bag policy enables faster movement through security checkpoints, allowing staff to efficiently check bags. Shorter lines and fewer hassles improve the overall gameday experience while enhancing safety.

Bag Allowance

Each ticketed guest can bring one clear bag, either a one-gallon Ziploc-style bag or a 12" x 6" x 12" clear bag, along with a small clutch purse (4.5" x 6.5"). The small clutch must be carried separately and is subject to search.

Non-Permitted Bags

Guests arriving with non-compliant bags will be denied entry. They can return the bag to their car or transfer belongings to a provided one-gallon Ziploc-style bag, disposing of the non-approved bag.

Purses

Small clutch purses (4.5" x 6.5") are permitted along with a clear tote bag or one-gallon freezer bag.

Diaper Bags

Diapers and baby supplies are allowed in a clear bag. Each family member, including children, can carry an approved clear bag and a clutch purse.

Permitted Items Carried Separately

Cameras, binoculars, smartphones, and tablets can be carried separately, as long as they are not in their own bags.

Seat Cushions

Approved seat cushions are permitted, excluding those with armrests, pockets, zippers, compartments, or covers.

Medical Exceptions

Guests requiring medically necessary items that won't fit in a clear bag must have their bag inspected and tagged by security at a CSC gate supervisor.

Permitted Items

The clear bag policy restricts bag types, not permissible items. Guests can carry items such as keys, makeup, feminine products, combs, phones, wallets, and credit cards in their pockets or a clutch purse (4.5" x 6.5"). Blankets can be carried over the shoulders, and binoculars and cameras can be carried without their cases.

Staff and Personnel

Support staff, media, caterers, and other personnel will continue to enter through designated gates, subject to existing screening procedures.

Fan Services and Conduct

Explore the Concourse Map for locations of UCF Fanswear, first aid stations, and other amenities. Be aware of severe weather protocols. Knight Nation embodies the spirit of Orlando, and fans are expected to treat each other, opposing teams, and stadium staff with courtesy and respect.

Prohibited Items

No weapons are allowed in the Stadium. Possession of a firearm or any other weapon is strictly forbidden.

Severe Weather Policy

UCF Athletics closely monitors local weather in consultation with UCF Emergency Management and the National Weather Service. Announcements will be made when lightning or inclement weather is detected within 15 miles of the stadium. Game play will be paused if lightning strikes within 8 miles, with a minimum 30-minute delay following the last strike. Fans inside the stadium may choose to seek shelter during a suspension.

Post-Game Traffic Patterns

The contraflow post-game traffic plan is in effect from 90 minutes after kickoff until after the game. Fans are encouraged to research the best route to their destination from their campus exit point in advance.

Ticketing Information

Limited season and single-game tickets may be available. Contact (407) 823-1000 for more information. UCF Athletics also offers discounted group tickets for select home athletic events.
