Navigating UCF Parking: A Comprehensive Guide to Game Day and Campus Parking
Finding your way around parking at the University of Central Florida (UCF) can be simplified with a little planning. Whether you're attending a game at Acrisure Bounce House, visiting the downtown campus, or just navigating the main campus, understanding the parking options and regulations will save you time and frustration. This guide provides detailed information on game day parking, campus parking, accessibility services, and more.
Game Day Parking at UCF
When heading to a UCF Knights football game, parking options vary depending on your season ticket status, accessibility needs, and willingness to donate. Understanding the different zones and services available will ensure a smooth experience.
Gold Zone Parking
Gold Zone parking offers premium locations near Acrisure Bounce House. Access to these lots is primarily based on your football season ticket purchase price, including ticket costs and per-seat contributions.
- Eligibility and Allocation: Gold Zone parking passes are limited to one pass for every five season tickets purchased, with a cap on the number of passes per account. Many long-time season ticket members may gain access to parking for the first time by considering the entire football season ticket invoice amount.
- Digital Passes: All parking passes are digital and managed through your UCF Athletics Account Manager. Saving your parking pass to your phone before game day is strongly encouraged.
- Relocation Options: Season ticket members looking to purchase parking or relocate their current parking are encouraged to complete the seat and parking relocation form when renewing their season tickets. Fans who qualify for multiple parking passes have the option to relocate all passes within the same lot, if available, to improve tailgate setups.
- Shareholders Society: Enhanced parking privileges may be available by supporting UCF Athletics through the Shareholders Society, with a minimum charitable gift of $5,000 or more, above and beyond your ticket invoice amount.
Other Parking Options
Besides Gold Zone, UCF provides various other parking solutions for game days, including cash lots, free parking areas, and park-and-ride services.
- Cash Lots: Fans without permits who want to park closer to the stadium can use Garage H for a minimum donation of $30, supporting student scholarships. Payments are accepted via credit cards.
- Free Parking: Free parking is available on a first-come, first-served basis in most other lots and garages on campus, excluding residential lots and the Libra Garage on Libra Drive, which are reserved for students living on campus.
- Park and Ride: Park and Ride services operate on all home game days, starting five hours before kickoff and running until two hours after the game. Fans can park at the Research Pavilion, located at 12424 Research Parkway in the Central Florida Research Park, and take shuttles to the Research 1 bus loop, adjacent to Parking Garage C. Postgame, shuttles return fans to the Research Pavilion from the Research 1 Bus Stop. Tailgating is not permitted at the Research Pavilion.
RV Parking
- RV spaces are designated for RV use only. All RV occupants must register with the lot attendant upon arrival and adhere to all campus and parking lot regulations and tailgating guidelines. Fans are not allowed to save spaces or spread out into neighboring spaces.
Important Reminders for Game Day Parking
- Permit Display: Gold Zone lots require a valid football game-day parking permit, or an Accessibility permit for fans with disabilities parking in designated spaces. Permits must be properly displayed at all times from the rearview mirror. All permits are limited to one parking space.
- Tailgating Restrictions: Tailgating is not permitted in any parking garage.
- Reserved Lots: Due to construction, parking lots H2-H4 and B9 are now reserved for fans with Gold Zone permits. Parking lot B4, located at the intersection of Central Florida Boulevard and Gemini Boulevard South, is reserved for official university business.
- Illegal Parking: Parking is only authorized in designated parking lots and garages. Patrons who illegally park on or along any campus roadways or in other non-designated parking areas are subject to towing and fines.
- East Plaza Drive Restrictions: No vehicular traffic or parking are authorized on East Plaza Drive on game days until two hours following the end of the game (or when authorized by UCF Police).
Accessibility Services for Game Day
UCF is committed to providing accessible parking and transportation options for guests with disabilities.

- Garage C Parking: Parking for guests with disabilities is available on the first level of Garage C with a proper DMV permit on a first-come, first-served basis. The individual who was issued the permit must be with the vehicle. Garage C is located near the intersection of Ken Dixon Way and Gemini Boulevard.
- Shuttle Service: A free shuttle for patrons with disabilities is provided from the bus stop adjacent to Garage C to Acrisure Bounce House (Gate 13). These shuttles run from three hours prior to kickoff until two hours after kickoff. Throughout the game and postgame, shuttles are available, picking up from Gate 13, to return patrons with disabilities to Garage C.
- Additional Accessible Spaces: Additional accessible parking spaces are available throughout the campus on a first-come, first-served basis to any guest with a disability who displays an authorized DMV permit. However, no direct shuttle service is available for these spaces.
- Courtesy Tram Services: Courtesy tram services for guests needing assistance to the Accessibility shuttle bus pickup/drop-off point located at the Research 1 Bus Stop, adjacent to Garage C, are offered on game days.
Campus Parking
Navigating campus parking during the week requires awareness of permit restrictions and designated areas.
- General Parking: Free parking is available for fans on a first-come, first-served basis in most other lots and garages on campus.
- Exceptions: Exceptions include all residential lots and the Libra Garage on Libra Drive, which are reserved at all times for students living on campus.
- Parking Authorization: Parking is only authorized in designated parking lots and garages. Patrons who illegally park on or along any campus roadways or in other non-designated parking areas are subject to towing and fines.
UCF Shuttle Services
UCF provides shuttle services to assist students and visitors in navigating the campus and surrounding areas.
- Student Shuttles: UCF operates student shuttle buses for all normally serviced apartment complexes (except NorthView, Tivoli, and Northgate due to their close proximity to the stadium) on each home football game day. The on-campus shuttle routes Pegasus Express will not be operating on game day. The shuttles run from five hours prior to the start of the game until two hours after the game ends. These shuttles are designed for people with light carry-on items only, with no space for large items.
- Downtown Campus Shuttle: A student shuttle departs from the UCF Downtown Campus to the Lynx Transit Center three hours prior to kickoff for afternoon games and four hours before kickoff for evening games, then departs the main campus for the trip back to UCF Downtown four hours after kickoff.
- Rosen College Campus Shuttle: A student shuttle departs from the Rosen College Campus to the Student Union three hours prior to kickoff for afternoon games and four hours before kickoff for evening games, then departs the main campus for the trip back to the Rosen College four hours after kickoff.
