Understanding UCF Summer B

The Summer B term at UCF offers a concentrated period for students to earn credits towards their degrees. Specifically, Summer B: June 23 - Aug.

Multiple Term Registration

Under Multiple Term Registration, undergraduates with a declared major and UCF GPA of 3.5 or higher will be able to view their appointment dates and times for Summer 2024, Fall 2024, and Spring 2025 in myUCF. Graduate students will be able to view their appointment dates and times for Summer 2024, Fall 2024 and Spring 2025 in myUCF.

Accelerated Terms: A New Approach

UCF’s academic calendar is introducing accelerated terms that will provide students with greater flexibility and shortened pathways to obtaining a degree. The calendar launches in the 2024-25 academic year. You will be able to register for accelerated terms for the Summer and Fall 2024 semesters.

The new accelerated sessions allow students to select courses that suit their schedules and earn their degrees in a timely fashion. Beginning in the 2024-25 academic year, UCF is providing additional class scheduling options to colleges.

UCF colleges will determine the courses, if any, that they’ll offer in the accelerated sessions. UCF’s colleges have the option to offer courses during the accelerated semesters and will determine if they will offer any classes. Available courses will be listed in mySchedule Builder during the term’s registration period.

  • Winter Intersession: Dec. 16, 2024 - Jan.
  • Session 1: Jan.
  • Session F: Jan.
  • Session 1: Aug. 18 - Nov.
  • Session F: Aug. 18 - Oct.
  • Session G: Oct. 13 - Dec.

Registration and Associated Fees

Navigating the registration process is a vital step in securing enrollment for the desired courses. It is equally important to understand the fees associated with registration, especially concerning late registration.

A $100 Late Registration Fee applies to students who enroll following the close of Registration or who enroll for the first time that term during Late Registration. on the grade forgiveness deadline.

CDL Support During Breaks

CDL has always provided some limited support service during the university’s winter break. Phone service is not available.
