The UCF Volleyball program offers a variety of camps designed to enhance and improve your volleyball skills. Led by experienced coaches and players, these camps provide a comprehensive training experience focusing on technical skills, tactical awareness, physical conditioning, and mental preparation. Whether you're a beginner or an experienced player, there's a camp to help you reach your full potential.

UCF Summer Camp Series: An Overview

The 2025 UCF Summer Camp Series is approaching, with multiple sessions throughout June & July. These camps share the training philosophies that are the foundation of the UCF program. With team camps, single-day skill-specific camps, and overnight sessions, there is something for everyone and every position.

All camps and clinics are open to any and all entrants regardless of skill level (limited only by number, age, grade level, and/or gender).

Positional Skills Camps

These camps offer position-specific instruction with UCF coaches and are suggested for athletes ages 10 to 18.

Attacking Camp

The attacking camp focuses on transitioning off the net to a powerful approach with a multi-directional arm swing. Campers can expect to learn every facet of attacking.

Passing Camp

The passing camp emphasizes body posture, footwork, digging techniques, advanced floor skills, and ball-handling techniques for serve receive and defense.

Setting Camp

The setting camp features technique-packed training sessions with an emphasis on hand position, body posture, footwork patterns, release, location, and decision-making.

College Prep Camp

This one-of-a-kind camp experience is designed to take your game to the collegiate level by exposing you to the daily training systems used in NCAA Division I and National Team programs. You will experience two days of intense, skill-specific training while staying in the UCF dorms. This camp is designed for campers with significant playing experience and a desire to encounter what it's like to live and train as a collegiate student-athlete. Spaces are limited, so campers are encouraged to register early.

High School Development Team Camp

This camp focuses on individual and team skill development combined with individual team practices and competition opportunities. It includes three days of intense competition, team offense and defense concepts used at UCF, and a Camp Tournament Championship on the final day. Designed for teams looking to learn and develop team systems and style of play, a portion of the day will be dedicated to team training while the remaining sessions are designed for competitive team drills and matches.

High School Tournament Team Camp

This team camp is an elite competition-based camp for high school teams to start their seasons with high-level match play. It includes two days of pool play competition and a third day of bracket play, a guaranteed eight matches, off-court training opportunities hosted by UCF Staff, and team offense and defense concepts used at UCF. This camp is designed for teams who already have a strong grasp of their system and style of play and are ready to step on the floor to compete against other highly competitive teams.

All-Skills & Elite All-Skills Camps

The All-Skills camp is geared toward technical teaching of each of the six skills of volleyball. It is designed for younger players and those who have only been playing for a short period of time and is suggested for athletes ages 10 to 14. The Elite All-Skills Camp is an individual camp focused on each of the fundamentals of volleyball but taking it from a basic to a more advanced level. It is designed for high school-aged athletes or middle schoolers with a few years of experience and is suggested for athletes ages 15 to 18.

2026 Advanced Camp and Clinics

The UCF Volleyball program also offers advanced camps and clinics for high school and club-level players with 2-3 years of competitive experience. These programs stress position play, advanced team techniques, physical conditioning, and a higher level of competitive play.

Advanced Camp

This camp is geared toward high school and club-level players (ages 12-18) with 2-3 years of competitive experience. This intense, challenging program stresses position play, advanced team techniques, physical conditioning, and a higher level of competitive play.

Advanced Hitting | Advanced Passing, Ball Control, & Defense Clinic

This advanced program is geared toward high school and club-level players (ages 12-18) with 2-3 years of competitive experience. This intense, challenging program stresses position play, advanced team techniques, physical conditioning, and a higher level of competitive play. Campers will receive elite instruction that will elevate and refine their technique and take their skills to the next level.

General Camp Information

Campers will receive elite instruction that will elevate and refine their technique and take their skills to the next level. Morning training sessions are typically included.

Supervision

Campers are supervised by staff during camp hours.

Camp T-shirt & Prizes

Campers at multi-day camps will receive a Nike Volleyball Camps t-shirt and prizes. *1-day clinics excluded.

Volleyballs

Volleyballs are provided for instruction during camp. Campers may purchase a Camp Volleyball at the time of registration, which will be given out on the last day of camp.

Staff-to-Camper Ratio

The staff-to-camper ratio is 1:10.

Groupings

Campers are grouped by age, ability, and experience, per the Director’s discretion.

Equipment Needed

Players should supply their own kneepads and have at least one pair of well-broken-in volleyball (court) shoes. Campers do not need to bring their own ball.

Facility

Camps are held on indoor courts.

Medical Protocol

What to Bring

Below is a suggested list of clothes, equipment, and personal items.

Group Discounts

If you have a group of 4 or more campers registering for the same camp, each camper is eligible for a $25 discount. If you have a group of 8 or more campers registering for the same camp, each camper is eligible for a $45 discount. Discounts are not available for camps priced at $250 or less.

Transportation

Transportation is not provided. Campers are responsible for getting to and from camp on their own.

Scholarships

We cannot offer scholarships due to NCAA regulations. Our affiliation with NCAA coaches and schools puts us in a position where any scholarship money can be seen as an inducement to a future collegiate athlete.
