- UCLA Lake Arrowhead Lodge: Nestled in the San Bernardino Mountains, ninety miles east of Los Angeles, this award-winning lodge provides a tranquil escape from the city. Comprehensive Catering Services
UCLA Catering is committed to providing timely, professional, and delicious food for every event. Whether it's a refreshment break, a working lunch, a cocktail reception, or a large banquet, the catering team excels at creating healthful, delicious, and beautifully presented menus.
Ordering and Planning
- Advance Notice: A minimum of two full working days' notice is required for catering orders. However, for large events, it is recommended to book a site and contact catering services at least one month in advance. Late orders may be subject to a 25% surcharge, depending on the complexity of the event.
- Reserving a Site: Arrangements for a facility should be made prior to contacting catering services. The catering staff can provide recommendations if needed. Ensure sufficient time for setup and breakdown when booking the venue, especially for full meals. Also, coordinate the moving of furniture or electrical access with the facilities department prior to the event.
- Attendance Guarantee: A final guarantee of attendance is required one full working day before the event to ensure adequate food and staff coordination. This guarantee is not subject to reduction. The catering team will prepare a 5% overage to accommodate unexpected guests, and you will be charged accordingly if the guest count exceeds this limit.
Delivery and Service
- Delivery Service: Delivery service is available for orders of $35.00 or more within the hospital complex. Off-site catering is available within a small radius of the UCLA campus. Specific delivery and removal times must be provided. Normal delivery service (Monday to Friday) begins at 6:30 am and ends at 5:00 pm for Ronald Reagan, and 6:00 am to 2:00 pm for Santa Monica. Weekend catering service is available for additional labor fees.
- Served Events: For served cocktail receptions, buffets, and meals, a charge of $30 per hour for each caterer and $35 per hour for each chef will apply, depending on the guest count and service requirements. A surcharge may be applicable if an event begins more than 15 minutes later than the requested service time or is delayed more than 30 minutes after dessert is served.

In keeping with UCLA’s vision of sustainability, the catering team creates gorgeous table settings sans linens, helping to support water conservation. Guests also discover green-friendly amenities at each of our Nutrition Hubs, including fair-trade coffee and sugar, and compostable cups, napkins and utensils.

Additional Information
- Additional Charges: A 10% service charge applies to rentals and floral arrangements. Van rental fee is $110.00 and a large truck fee is $160.00. A 15% delivery fee applies outside of the hospital.
- Alcoholic Beverages: UCLA Catering does not possess a liquor license and, in accordance with California Alcoholic Beverage Control, is not able to sell alcoholic beverages. Customers may provide their own alcoholic beverages, in accordance with Medical Center Policy 0316, which states: “The service of alcoholic beverages to groups exclusively 21 years of age or older is permissible at occasional special events." UCLA Catering is not able to sell or provide bartending services
- Cancellations: Cancellations must be made at least one full working day in advance. Cancellations made less than 24 hours in advance will be charged for any expenses already incurred. Cancellations on the day of the event will be charged for the total cost.
- Liability: At Your Service is not responsible for lost food. Necessary charges may be made to the customer in case of missing equipment.
