UCLA Extension Interior Design Certificate Program

The Interior Design Certificate from UCLA Extension is recognized as an accredited program that meets the educational requirements for sitting for the NCIDQ Exam. The curriculum comprises 22 required courses (57 semester units) and two to four electives (4 semester units) for a total of 61 semester units. All courses must be taken for a letter grade, and students must complete each course with a grade of C or better to receive the certificate.

The UCLA Extension curriculum includes 82 quarter units. As such, students pursuing the Interior Design Certificate at UCLA Extension will need to complete an additional 8 quarter units by selecting from the Professional Development courses available within the program.

Once you have completed the certificate coursework, notify UC Berkeley Extension that you have completed the curriculum and request your certificate.
