The Application Process: A Step-by-Step Guide

Search for Openings: Search openings by keyword, job ID, location, or MOS code. Look for roles that match your experience and qualifications. New jobs may be posted on a daily basis. Additional filters may be available to allow you to narrow down your search even further.
Apply: Once you have found a job opportunity, click Apply.
Create a Candidate Account: You will then create a Candidate Account which can be used to apply to any of UCLA's openings. You must have your own online profile in the system to complete a job application. Go to the "Returning Candidate? Log back in" link. NEW APPLICANTS: You have to apply for a position to create your official profile.
Submit Your Information: You can submit your information in a few different ways. Uploading your resume (through your computer or through a cloud storage site like Google Drive, Dropbox, or Microsoft OneDrive). Available options will be presented to you on the Basic Information page of your application.
Review of Application: When UCLA receives your application, they’ll review your experience and skills. UCLA will keep your information in their system for future opportunities that may arise.

What Happens After You Apply?

If your unique background and abilities ideally match one of UCLA's open positions, they’d love to talk to you and learn more about you. Receiving an Offer

If you’re selected as the final candidate, UCLA will contact you to congratulate you and extend a verbal offer. A written offer will be sent to you as well. If you accept the offer, you may be required to undergo a background check or a physical exam as part of our standard employment procedures.
