Apartment Communities

For students seeking a more independent living experience, UTA offers several apartment communities. These apartments provide a greater degree of privacy and flexibility compared to residence halls.

General Information

Six distinctive apartment communities with furnished and unfurnished options are available. Monthly rates are per apartment. For “By Unit” locations, there is a single leaseholder, and the leaseholder may choose to have roommates and split expenses. Any agreements to split expenses would be between the leaseholder and their occupants. Monthly rates are per bed. Other residents may be assigned to vacant bedroom(s)/beds in the apartment. Roommate matching is available in furnished apartment communities. Residents must satisfy the minimum lease term outlined in the lease. Early lease termination is only available to residents who meet specific lease requirements. 12-month lease may not equal a full 12 months for new residents. Swimming pools are located as shown in the chart. UTA apartment residents may use the pool closest to their community.

Individual Leases and Payment Options

An individual lease provides each resident with their own separate lease agreement and responsibility for only his/her rental installments and applicable utility and parking charges. Yes! Save time in the future and never miss a rental installment by setting up recurring payments. You just need a few minutes and your checking account or card info to setup payments. We accept credit cards, debit cards and ACH payments online through our Resident Portal.

Lease Installments

The typical lease term is approximately 11.5 months of occupancy which coincides with the university’s academic calendar. The resident is charged a total rent amount for the contracted occupancy period. The lease agreement will reflect the total rent amount typically divided into 12 equal installments due August 1 - July 1.

Insurance Requirements

Yes! The community requires all residents to obtain minimum coverage of $100,000 in Legal Liability to Landlord (LLL) insurance. Residents can purchase the policy of their choosing so long as it satisfies the minimum insurance requirements above as further described in the Required Insurance Addendum made a part of the lease. If you do not provide proof of insurance with the requisite coverage, American Campus Communities may satisfy the insurance requirement for you by placing coverage for your unit under a LLL policy as described in the Required Insurance Addendum found in your lease.
