Navigating Parking at the University of Arkansas: A Comprehensive Guide

Attending events at the University of Arkansas, especially Razorback games at Donald W. Reynolds Razorback Stadium, requires careful planning, particularly when it comes to parking. This guide provides detailed information on parking options, regulations, and tips to ensure a smooth experience. From game day specifics to ADA accessibility, we cover everything you need to know about parking on and around the University of Arkansas campus.

Game Day Parking

On game days, parking at the University of Arkansas undergoes significant changes to accommodate the influx of fans. Most parking lots are reserved for Razorback Foundation members who are season ticket holders. Securing parking passes for Fayetteville games at Donald W. Reynolds Razorback Stadium is available through the Razorback Foundation.

Limited Public Parking

Public parking on campus is limited on game days, emphasizing the importance of arriving early. Several options are available for those without reserved parking:

  • Harmon Avenue Parking Garage: Located north of Center Street on Harmon Avenue, this garage offers pay parking at $25 per vehicle.
  • Spring Street Parking Garage: Situated at the corner of Spring Street and School Avenue, this garage also provides public parking.
  • Razorback Road (Near Baum-Walker Stadium): Very limited public parking is available off Razorback Road near Baum-Walker Stadium, approximately one mile south of the stadium, between Martin Luther King Boulevard and 15th Street.

Shuttle Service

For those parking near Baum-Walker Stadium, a shuttle service operates, beginning three hours before kick-off. The shuttle provides return trips until all fans are returned to their vehicles after the conclusion of the game.

Bus Parking

Bus parking is available at Baum Baseball Stadium off Razorback Road, approximately one mile south of Donald W. Reynolds Stadium, behind the Randal Tyson Indoor Track and Field Center. There is no charge for bus parking, and space is available on a first-come, first-served basis; reservations are not accepted.

RV Parking

RV parking options are available for fans who prefer to tailgate in their recreational vehicles:

  • Priority RV Parking: Road Hog Park, located approximately one mile south of the stadium off Razorback Road, east on 15th Street, offers priority RV parking.
  • Non-Priority RV Parking: Adjacent to Road Hog Park, non-priority RV parking is available on a first-come, first-served basis.

ADA Parking

The University of Arkansas is committed to providing accessible parking for individuals with disabilities. ADA parking is available on a first-come, first-served basis in a designated area in Lots 320-322, located on the corner of Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard (6th Street) and Razorback Road. Overflow ADA parking is available at Baum East.

Requirements

A state-issued license plate or hang tag is required to enter the designated ADA parking areas in each lot. It is against the law to use an ADA parking permit unless the person to whom the permit is issued is in the vehicle.

Shuttle Service for ADA Patrons

A shuttle service is available from both Lots 320-322 and Baum East, providing convenient transportation to and from the stadium. The shuttle drops off and picks up at Gates 1 and 8 (both on the west side of the stadium) and Gates 14 and 16 (both on the east side of the stadium).

Shuttle Prioritization

Due to the high demand for the shuttle service from Lots 320-322 and Baum East, ridership is prioritized by those patrons who have a disability and one caretaker for riders needing additional assistance.
