Payment of all emergency or short-term loans from the college and university.
Financial Aid Exit Interview: If you received financial aid, you will need to complete an exit interview. In the main navigation menu of ONE.UF, select Finances, then Campus Finances, to complete the interview.

In-Person Commencement Exercises

UF hosts in-person commencement exercises on the Gainesville campus. Graduates attending commencement can order their regalia (cap and gown) through Herff Jones, the university's regalia provider.

Online Master’s graduates can participate in the College of Pharmacy’s spring ceremony, which includes a special reception for family and friends. Those graduating in the summer or fall are also encouraged to attend this ceremony. Ordering a Diploma

The Office of the University Registrar orders diplomas at the end of each term for all graduating students. Final grades determine if a student has met the requirements to graduate and receive a diploma.

Electronic Diploma (CeDiploma)

An electronic version of your diploma, known as a CeDiploma, can be shared digitally with potential employers, family, and friends, and uploaded to job networking sites. CeDiplomas are typically available eight weeks after graduation and cost $12.95. They are available for graduates who earned their degree in 2015 or later.

Apostille and Notarial Certification

An apostille is a certificate issued by the state to authenticate the signature of a public official on a document for use in another country. For countries not part of the Hague Convention, a Notarial Certification is issued.

Initiating an Apostille Request

Current and former students can initiate the apostille process for a University of Florida diploma, certificate, and/or transcript by providing the following:

Request Form: Complete the university’s Apostille/Notarization request form and submit it to the Office of the University Registrar.
Diploma/Certificates: If a former student needs an apostille for their diploma or certificate, they must provide a physical copy or a photocopy, depending on the receiving country's requirements. If a new diploma or certificate needs to be ordered, it can take 2-3 months to reproduce.
Transcript Order: Order an official transcript through ONE.UF by logging in, clicking on the “Transcripts” dropdown menu, and selecting “Order a Transcript.” Upload the completed Apostille/Notarization request form with your order.

In addition to the Apostille/Notarization request form and the applicable University of Florida document(s), the Registrar’s office also requires:

Check(s): A check or money order made payable to the “Department of State.” The Department of State does not accept credit card payments.

Important Information

Ensure no financial holds are on your account, as they will prevent your diploma from being ordered.
Minors, majors, additional majors, tracks, or specializations are not printed on the diploma.
If a recent graduate believes their honors designation is listed incorrectly, they should contact their academic advisor.

Ordering a Replacement Diploma

To order a replacement diploma (size 11"x14"), send a written request with your signature and the necessary information. Replacement diplomas will be issued using the current diploma format, which may not be an exact replica of your original diploma, and will include a "Replacement Diploma issued on [date]" statement in the lower-left corner.
