Uniqname and UMID: Your Keys to Access

Your Uniqname and UMID are essential credentials for accessing My.UMFlint.edu. These were sent to you by the Office of Graduate Programs. If you need to create your uniqname visit Uniqname & Account Setup.

Enrollment Deposit

Certain graduate programs require students to submit an enrollment deposit to secure their space. Check whether your program has this requirement.

Registering for Orientation

UM-Flint offers an online graduate student orientation designed to introduce you to policies, procedures, and other information you need to know. This orientation provides a general overview of the campus, covering topics such as paying for courses and registering for classes. The online orientation is a series of videos that will take less than 30 minutes to complete. Although we track attendees and recommend all students complete the orientation, it is not required.

Some programs also offer program-specific orientations. Congratulations on your admission to the UM-Flint! The following programs hold a program-specific orientation. In-person virtual synchronous orientation will take place prior to the January start date.

Pick up your parking pass at orientation
This parking pass will be valid for one academic year.
