Resident Assistants (RAs) in UVA

Resident Assistants (RAs) are live-in students trained and dedicated to making your RSU experience the best it can be. Each RA has a specific area of the apartment community for which he/she is responsible. The RAs coordinate area and community-wide social, educational, and recreational activities. As RAs, we hope to educate residents and students of their full potential as responsible adults, motivate them to accomplish their life goals, encourage them whenever life wears them down, empower them to turn their dreams into a reality.

Meet Your UVA RAs:

Pacie: A Junior majoring in nursing with a minor in psychology. Active in PLC, Eco Club, Essential Health, and BCM! Enjoys watching movies, coaching basketball, cooking, drinking coffee, and doing Bible studies!
Cade Simpson: Enjoys playing with his band, going to the gym, and hanging out with friends!
Karalyn Ryan: A junior majoring in Nursing. This is her third year of being an RA.
Jacob Brown: This is his second year as an RA and first year in UVA. In his free time, he likes to play golf, basketball, and spend time with friends.

University Village B (UVB)

UVB is designed with different floor plans available to meet the needs of all students. The apartments are in an all-enclosed building with card access only. UVB contains 4, 2, and 1 bedroom units. This is included in your semester rent. As in UVA, residents have the option to use either a wireless or wired internet connection.

Meet Your UVB RAs:

Brady Long: Comes from a small town north of Okmulgee called Preston OK. He was involved in things like Basketball, 4H, Academics, and was class president. You can catch him at the gym (lifting or playing basketball), at Fusion, or just hanging out with friends.
Remi: Originally from Owasso and will be starting her sophomore year, majoring in Nursing. She loves spending time outdoors and hanging out with friends, and she’s always out and about at campus events.
Jaxcie: A junior majoring in environmental conservation, and an active member of RSU ECO Club.
Mason Colvard: A junior at RSU, majoring in Business Administration. He’s originally from Jay, Oklahoma, and when he’s not studying or working, you can usually find him hanging out at the BCM or around campus with friends.
