URI Alumni Weekend: A Comprehensive Schedule of Events
Homecoming Weekend is like a big annual reunion where everyone is invited back to campus! All alumni are invited to come home to campus and relive their best college memories. The URI Foundation & Alumni Engagement invites alumni back to campus each year for events such as Homecoming Weekend, which includes the homecoming football game, Rhodyville block party, mini-reunions, and more. Reunions allow Rams who were classmates, sorority sisters, fraternity brothers, teammates and more to reminisce and reconnect. 50th Reunion and Golden Grad Weekend allow alumni who have graduated 50 years ago or more to reconnect with one another and revisit the traditions that made URI special.
Homecoming Weekend will be held Friday, Sept. 19, through Sunday, Sept. 21, this year. As always, the campus community is invited to host and coordinate events during the weekend. This year, campus partners are encouraged to participate in the Rhodyville Homecoming event on Saturday, Sept. This block-party-style celebration will feature food, live music, giveaways, URI swag, and more. Campus partners are encouraged to host an engaging, high-energy activity-think fall carnival. This year, we’re asking departments not to simply staff a table or provide handouts. Faculty and staff members who would like to host an activity at Rhodyville or who are planning events during Homecoming Weekend are asked to complete this form by Monday, Aug.
