Students can contact Texas One Stop for their questions about financial aid, scholarships, and loans. Texas One Stop, located on the ground floor of Main (the Tower), serves as the central hub for all inquiries related to financial assistance.

As the official office overseeing federal grants and loans, federal and state Work-Study, state grants, Texas Advance Commitment, and outside scholarships, Texas One Stop provides comprehensive information to students, their families, faculty, and staff in a timely manner. Their knowledgeable and accessible staff are leading experts in scholarships and financial aid, ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations. They work with colleges and schools to determine aid, provide training, and support university goals. As student champions (for undergraduate, graduate, and professional students), they provide financial aid to help as many students and families as possible.

Division of Student Affairs: The Hub of Student Life and Well-being

The Division of Student Affairs serves as the central hub for student life and well-being at The University of Texas at Austin. The team inspires all students - undergraduate, graduate and professional - to live the Longhorn life through its uniquely-designed programs, spaces and resources. They serve every student through physical health, mental health and well-being services; new student and family orientations; recreational sports; two university unions; and the University’s official parent association. The Division departments support 1,100+ student organizations; student governance organizations; student outreach, legal, and disability and access services.

The Vice President for Student Affairs leads several departments dedicated to student well-being and success: the Counseling and Mental Health Center, Disability and Access, Longhorn Wellness Center, the Office of the Dean of Students, Recreational Sports, Texas Parents, University Health Services, University Unions. The vice president is the liaison between the president of the University and the department directors providing leadership to develop student-focused programs, spaces and resources that enhance the student experience and complement their academic work. These services can be accessed by students in Austin, any state outside of Texas or in one of 200 different countries.

Counseling and Mental Health Center: Prioritizing Mental Well-being

Recognizing the importance of mental health, UT Austin provides comprehensive counseling and mental health services through the Counseling and Mental Health Center (CMHC). The Counseling and Mental Health Center is located on UT Austin’s campus inside the Student Services Building at 100 W Dean Keaton St. It offers a range of services designed to support students' emotional and psychological well-being. Students can call 512-472-CALL to access Counselors in Academic Residence, which will continue to be available through colleges and schools.
